May Eats

There is no place like California, and there is nothing like the food here. Pretty much all throughout May, I've been eating anything and everything. Here's where I've been and my thoughts.

Salt & Straw (Larchmont, CA)- If you like ridiculously sweet and fluffy ice-cream, this is definitely the place to go.

Eggslut (Los Angeles, CA)- Who doesn't like egg on their sandwich? I have a previous blogpost about Eggslut here. I def recommend the Gaucho.

Sidecar Donuts (Costa Mesa, CA)- Damn good donuts. That's all I have to say.

Kippy's Ice Cream Shop (Venice, CA)- Delicious but not my favorite vegan ice cream. Their coco magic shell is amazing though.

Coffee Code (Fullerton, CA)- Known for the nation's best latte art. They should be known for their good coffee.

Churro Borough (Los Angeles, CA)- Churro ice cream sandwich say what?? Actually the highlight of this sandwich was the Blackberry Cheesecake sherbet.

Urth Caffe (Pasadena, CA)- Good, but it's not worth the hype.

California Donuts (Los Angeles, CA)- Cute and innovative flavors. To me, the donuts are sub-par.

HoneyMee (Rowland Heights, CA)- I never thought honey + ice cream would actually taste good, but it does. *sidenote: beeswax is disgusting to chew on.
